What do you think of the new focus design, it looks ok apart from the back. They also ruined the Fiesta last year too, don’t know what they’re trying to achieve??

It's a sad state of affairs when you think to yourself that a Nissan Pulsar is a better looking car.

It looks good to me. I've liked the last few revisions of the Focus, particularly hatchback.

Copy and paste of everything else. A sad state of affairs when you think of the very individual mk1 Focus. Ford have a habit of this though, see the Escort through it's many variations

Oh Ford. Its looks like a Subaru impreza from the side, the back is very boring and the front is a overdone. It will no doubt be lovely to drive do but Ford can make cars that look so much better.

Those wheels do it no favours. Can't say I'm a fan, but I'm sure in the right trim it'll look better.

I passed a 171 and new Fiesta driving side by side along the motorway today. The new one is HUGE compared to the old one

Actually while the new Fiesta might look a bit bigger compared to the old one there is not much in it as it is based on the same platform and wheelbase that was just revamped. It actually does not have that much more room inside and there is now other cars in that class like the Nissan Micra, Seat Ibiza and VW Polo that are packaged much better and offer more room inside. The new Fiesta inside and out also does not look nearly as good as the one it replaced but that is just my opinion.
It's the same with this new Focus. It does not look as good as the car it is replacing certainly not from the rear anyway which on this new one is very boring.

If you took off the badges you wouldn't know what it was, no Focus DNA there whatsoever.
