On the 2wd it depends on your work and the land.
For herding and if you've no browy land then 2wd is fine.

Can't help you on the dealers in cork.

What part of cork are you in. There’s hourigans in newmarket that do quads. They mainly do motorbikes but have a fair share of quads afaik.
There’s also a place in bandon think it’s called Agriband. Don’t know much about them but think they specialize in quads.

Bought a Honda foreman 500 4wd from Shanahan's in tralee. It must 15years old now and not a bother on it. There a tremendous investment for any farm imo. Definitely go for the 4wd especially if your going to go doing anything with it like spreading fertiliser.

Agriband / Michael Hurley are great to deal with. Good selection of second hand machines and they'll keep you running come thick or thin.

I'm hard on quads and they've somehow made sure I haven't had to walk for the cows since the first day I walked in there.

I have a friend who was trialling an electric two wheeler. He didn't have much issues with the power of the bike etc but found it very uncomfortable ride.

Mine is road registered and AFAIK you dont need a rollbar legally.
    They are dangerous though.
Especially if you arent used to them
