Has anyone been credited DA payment yesterday? I usually see it appear betweem 945-10pm every tuesday evening with ulster bank..thanks

Could be Ulster Bank or it could be a consequence of this EU-wide Mayday Bank Holiday thing, mentioned elsewhere.

disability allowance is paid on a wed, so its not effected by the public holiday and will be paid tonight as usual

Don't know anything about this allowance - but like yourself OP I'm an Ulster Bank customer. My mortgage payment hasn't been taken from my account yet, it's usually on the first day of every month.

We will have to wait for office to open before we can ring but looks as if a lot were not paid disability allowance, I do remember it happened either last year or year before & we had to wait till the Thursday to be paid

What problems are these? It is very difficult to process payments when the European clearing system is closed due to a currency bank holiday.

It was not possible to process any Euro currency payments yesterday in any bank
