    Well folks,
I was at the local store yesterday and there was divided opinion on the impact of the current fodder crisis on hearing sales. I have 50 yearling freisan bullocks around the 350kg mark in as good an order as freisans can be.
I had planned to hold them until June when the grass is growing however I was advised to move them now as the price might collapse when more sellers come out in force.
A bit rambling I know but any comments or opinions are appreciated.
Feel free to comment on your own individual cases also.

It really is hard to judge. All store cattle are after going up in price over the last 2 weeks. Fellas in South and East have grass now and are buying at uneconomic levels. Imo you won't get any more or less for them in June.

The grass is coming now, I suppose I want to take advantage of the compensatory growth which never happened earlier in the year.

I've booked in 12 yearling freisan bullocks for next Monday, I'm thinking of going with two lots of six. They should be around 350kgs. Any thoughts on expected price, groupings, time of sale etc. etc.?
I'm weighing the 50 of them and sorting them accordingly on Saturday.
