This box has been working fine for years, hadn't used it in a few months

Switched on this morning and there is no output to TV

Checked the HDMI cable on another device and works ok

LCD display on box shows its starting up etc and you can up/down the buttons through the channel numbers but nothing coming to TV

Blown HDMI output? Box for the bin? Any suggestions?

Have you another HDMI port on the tv you can try plug it in to? Also try disconnect and reconnect HDMI in to box to see that connection isn't loose.

tried it on the HDMI cable that the PS4 is plugged into, no joy
also moved the box to another TV and plugged it into the HDMI for my android box with no picture

sounds like the output has gone

Happened me. It's a regular fault I'm told. Try with a scart lead to confirm it the HDMI in the box.

Maybe try the SCART output before final decision ....... I don't recall if the outputs can be manually affected by a setting .......

EDIT: see that has already been suggested.

I had two of these boxes which developed the same type of fault - No HDMI output but SCART will probably still be working - If it is, try re-flashing with the latest firmware available, (A120Combo_20130402_V2.18B8). I did and they both worked perfectly afterwards.

    Just encountered the same issue.

    Reflashing has resolved it.

    Thanks for providing the solution.

I cannot seem to locate the firmware file; can anyone help? Thanks.

Would like to store it 'just in case' ;)

Before you get told off for dragging up an old thread, have a look at

Read the manual, specifically page 27 about upgrading by USB.
