Is it a meeting in the labour court or a decision.

When the wife went to Beggars bush for unfair dismissal against /Mod deletion/ Hospital creche, it was there and then. May be because they had no defence. The cheque arrived a few weeks later.

Couple of years. Was Siptu for wife and IBEC for Hospital. Each party was spoken to seperately. Then parties put together and comissioner left, then Hospital owned creche settled.

I work in employment law and we are currently waiting about 5 months to get a hearing date once we've submitted the WRC Complaint Form. You'll usually get a month's notice of the date so you're talking six months roughly in all. Once the case has been heard, you'll be waiting about 4-5 months for the decision (they say 6wks, it never is!). Once the decision has been received, both parties have the right to appeal within 42 days of the date of the decision. If an appeal is necessary, it goes to the Labour Court for a fresh hearing. Hope this helps.

Wrc is a joke cause the chair person asks questions and does not include it in his report hopeful Labour court be more promising

Didn't we address this in a different thread?

The adjudication officer is not required to detail their questions in their decision and the LC is no different in that regard. That does not make the service a joke.
