They do Allergy testing in the hermitage in Lucan...not sure if that's for children only though!
A dermatologist will also normally do a blood test to ascertain if a skin issue is being driven by an allergen.

Visit your doctor if you think you are are coeliac. They will evaluate you and ensure that you visit consultants for confirmatory testing/evaluation if required.

You need to speak to your GP. Nutritionists and other “professionals” will be more than happy to take your money and tell you you’re wheat and dairy intolerant, but it won’t be worth any more than the paper it’s written on unless it’s diagnosed by a qualified medical practitioner.

If you genuinely have developed coeliac disorder, it needs to be very carefully managed under medical supervision. If you are concerned about IBS type symptoms, you can also speak to a dietitician (not sure if you need a referral). For many food intolerances, the only accurate way to identify them is through an exclusion diet.

I had a one-off fairly dramatic reaction to fresh strawberry many years ago. I've avoided it ever since, but I'd love to know if it is still going to be an issue. Boots used to do allergy testing here, but got out of it fairly recently. Do I have any other options for testing?

This is probably why Boots stopped...

Any GP practice can take a blood sample and send it to the local hospital lab for food allergy testing.

Or even a celiac test in the OP's case.

A blood test is only an indicator for coeliac disease. Following the results, you would then need a biopsy from the small intestine to conclusively diagnose the disease.

Just to confirm - are you talking about allergy testing or intolerance testing?

Allergy testing in your case if you had a reaction to strawberries
