Good to see the Court of Appeal has overturned the leniency of the sentence handed down to 2 no. fcukers, and increased sentences from 3 1/2 yrs to 6yrs, 4 months.
Still not enough, but a move in the right direction.
fcukers left a man dying as they ran off from attempting to rob his gaff, the fourth of the day.

Michael Casey, a married father-of-two, was 33 at the time of sentencing and had 44 previous convictions including one for robbery.

David Casey lived with his mother in Coolock and had 14 previous convictions. He was on bail at the time of the spree in respect of a burglary he had committed in Galway for which he subsequently received a six month sentence. He was additionally on station bail in respect of another burglary for which he subsequently received a two month suspended sentence.

Neither Casey had any history of being in gainful employment. Probation reports described both men as being at high risk of reoffending

Judging by their appearance they may well end up stabbed to death or worse behind bars

No, they don't. The one or two who run the PR dept. at Pavee Point; some bleeding hearts and Boards mods are the ones who wonder why there is so much resentment and mistrust.

15% of the male prison population are travellers (source = Irish prison service) , so plenty of their mates are there with them.

I truly believe it's ingrained in their DNA to be scrotes. I see traveller kids play with "settled" kids at the playground nearby and within minutes,it's easy to pick them out.
Even without them speaking a word, they stick out a mile by their bullying, rough play, and selfish bossy actions. Nature and nurture and all that. It's bizarre actually.
