What's people's opinions on using Gripple for tensioning wire that has gone slack?
Alot of mine lagging after the winter and am looking for the easiest/quickest way of getting the tension on it again. All the wire is 2.5 high tensile.
Will they hold over time or will I just end up replacing them down the line again?

    Why not use in-line tensioners?

They are an easy way to tension slack wire over cutting and adding in a new piece of wire. I just tie off the tails by wrapping them around tightened wire. It means you can't 're tension with that gripple but the mechanism seizes with time anyways so may as well have it tidy and secure.
