Suspended Timber Floor DPC Detail

    Hi all,

I'm currently getting a suspended timber floor repaired in a period red brick house.
The builder is removing rotten wallplate timber and joists and replacing where necessary. The 4 inch wallplate is being underlain by a 4 inch DPC. I've attached some pictures for clarity.

Is this sufficient in terms of damp proofing the new timber? Seems a bit 'skimpy' to me...

    Thanks
