    Ok

So at the top of the page (for me at least) there is a sponsored post for DublinBeds.ie

It can't just be me who thinks their logo looks like a big blue cock and balls can it?

    DublinBedsIE_logo_RGB.gif

So either someone is getting frisky with the smurfs or he just hasn't managed to get frisky in a long time.....maybe it's marketing....."try our beds and get rid of your blue balls"?

I'm sure I've seen plenty of other faux-pas related to logos over my time. Can any of ye all remember any particularly funny ones?

Basically, examples when you have to say "what the hell were they thinking".

I heard the story of the fella who was trying to start a business cleaning cars back in the day. He would clean and powerwash the outside of your car. Or he would come over and clean and polish the interior of your car from top to bottom by hand. Very thorough. So he spent a small fortune getting some glossy flyers printed. Got a good deal for having a large volume print order. Basically spent all his seed money on them. He wanted to convey both the manual and thorough nature of his work along with his low prices. So he put in big letters across the glossy photo of a shining car "Just want a hand job? Only 25 quid"....I think he ended up having to change his phone number eventually

Wang Computers ad campaign back in the late 70s didn't do them any favours in the English speaking world.
