Squeaky runners

Have a couple of new pairs of Vans. Problem is, after I've been wearing them for a while and my feet get hot, they squeak at the heel when I walk!

I know this is due to moisture getting into the insole, and any tips online I've read suggests putting baby powder under the insole, but I can't remove it without ripping it, so I don't really want to do that.

Would it work just putting the powder into the shoe, or is there anything else I can try? As the squeak is coming from under the insole I'm not sure additional insole would work either.
