Its interference/noise/damage. With a 90Mb prequal you should be a good chunk better.

Attenuation is high, I guess the cab is within 200-300m? Attn says over 1km which is clearly false.

Assuming the modem is direct to an OpenEir NTU (master socket) then ask support to send a tech.

Support say there's no fault and tech will be 150 euro if no fault found, can you explain whats wrong with line ? Think if i got a lazy tech he could say no fault found I end up with big bill and still same problem.
Yeah cabinet is just around corner from me.

Support is like the lotto. Some area great, some are monkeys that can't wipe their own arse effectively.

I can't say what's wrong only that there is something wrong. Techs job to find it.

No problem, is it the sort of fault they shouldn't miss the tech that is ?
Don't mind the paying so much as the fault fixed lol more worried they not find the fault say nothing wrong here's big bill
    :D

Tech will arrive with a testing tool (the same they used, when they installed the line) and if the line is at fault (which it seems) he won't see any better results either.

Even a lazy tech can't miss that.

The problem is some of the KNN lads have been handed JDSUs and never even shown how to read them.....

The copper lads I've met so far have been trained. But it's true, that loads of them have not had copper based circuit training.

On the upside, they're so busy with FTTH, that they only send copper training KN guys out on copper jobs. Too much to do for the fiber lads anyhow.

Sorry for been thick here. But which numbers are wrong and so its fairly obvious fault to anyone who can read the numbers right ?
I know there is an issue was all lol. Drop of a third in speed

Update speed went down again and dropping in and out last night. Rang today and tech coming out to check the line, told line is still green so not showing fault there end. But when history checked agreed that there's a fault somewhere.
