    Folks,

I'm acting on behalf of my elderly parents who are both in nursing homes at this stage.
My folks house is in sandymount and in need of some urgent repair due to damp coming down the Chimney Brest in their upstairs bedroom.
It looks like it originates from the chimney and so I need a builder to get up there and look to identify the problem and ultimately repair it.
There could also be some loose slates on a part of the roof which is hard to see from ground.
Can anyone help here or at least does anyone know someone in the trade that can be trusted?!
I'm very cynical and extremely careful with this sort of thing. The neighbours next door to them wouldn't even recommend their builder, he was so unreliable..!
    Thanks

Seems likes it's a slow leak. Probably around Chimney. Always get a second opinion, someone should look at it for free just to quote. Make sure it is free.
Giving someone 100 just to say '' it's leaking' is a joke. You already know that.
