What are people's plans? Are you going to start later this year?
I'm pushing out 10 day later and going for 1st of may as a start date rather than 20th of April. Not planning on stoping later just having a more compact season

I'll be starting 1st May, then 10weeks with the bull and scan, if not in calf they will be out the door, said I'd do it last year and didint, and possibly next year cut it back to 9 weeks, bull a few extra replacements and if not needed let them off in calf. Working full time off farm and calving half the year does not appeal to me at all.

Tail painted all cows on Friday. Anything still with paint on and calved over 40 days will get a shot of prostaglandin on May 1st, first day of breeding. Any of those that don't come bulling will be scanned and treated. Tail paint regularly on cows and scratch cards on heifers. 3 weeks replacement AI on cows and heifers and then beef AI weeks 3-6. Vasectomised bulls go in at 4/5 weeks. AA/He bulls go in weeks 6-10 backed up with AA AI.
