    Hi

Thinking of taking the plunge and buying a turntable.
I was looking at the Rega Planar 1 and the Audio Technica AT-LP5.
The AT looks the simpler option with the built in phono, but it seems the Rega is superior from a sound quality point of view?

Rega are also introducing the Planar Plus (this month I think?) which has a built in phono stage.

This model sounds like exactly what I'm after.

Any idea on release date and price for the RP1 Plus?

Any opinion on the RP1 & AT-LP5 welcome too.

    Thanks

    Hi Furioussoxx.

I'm a little bias as I purchased a Planar 1 around a year ago and love it.

I've no confirmed released date on the Planar 1 Pro but I will drop our supplier an email and see if this is something he can tell me.

It really is hard to beat the Rega products and I don't think the LP5 is just as good as the Planar 1.

Great, thank you for letting me know.
Will it be available on your website or in store collection only?

    Hi Furioussox.

I'm not sure if it will make it onto the website or not.

I will be able to ship the Planar 1 Plus but it may need ordered by you over the phone.

Think it might be tied in to record store day.
    Thanks.

    Hi Furiousox.

As mentioned above stock was arriving this week with our supplier and is now in stock with them to order in the Black finish.
