    Thinking about buying a ten-year-old V50 petrol 1.6. Any opinions on them or anything in particular to watch for? Thanks.

    Electrical gremlins, worn suspension bits and expensive parts. 1.6 petrol engine is a Ford unit and not very powerful. Also despite being an estate it's based on the Ford Focus so interior legroom is rather tight.
