Is this dress ok for a wedding?

I would see that as a more casual day dress. But maybe you have a more quirky way to style it that would dress it up?

I think it's gorgeous and the main thing is to look confident and feel comfortable. If you get a little hair fascinator and wear nice shoes it'll glam it up a bit.

Man's opinion - too partyish, certainly don't want to be distracting from the bride

I'm personally not a fan of the "wedding fashion", it can sometimes look a bit try hard. I really like this & don't think it's too casual for a wedding - just have a set of dressy heels to set it off, the heels the girl in the picture has are a bit old for the dress I think. It's about how you dress it up :)

    Love it.
I'd definitely wear it to a wedding.
A wish a dress like that would suit me.

On the plain side for a wedding: but maybe better than overdoing it as someone said above.

Also as previously said - snazz it up with some good jewellery, shoes and a HAT. Not a fascinator, (which often look amateurish and insecure.) LOL Just my personal prejudice!

It totally depends on how it's carried.

Absolutely, I'd dress it up with red or yellow hat and shoes, and you can always wear it again dressing it down!

I also think hair up with some loose curls and a good red lipstick would be gorgeous! I'd focus on hair and makeup up with this dress to make it wedding appropriate- hope that makes sense! Also, a skinny belt might make the waist look a bit better, not a fan of the 'baggy look' myself :)

ETA- just noticed there is a belt of sorts on it. I'd definitely pull in tighter than the model has it or replace it completely with a skinny one.

    I think it's stunning. I love it.

I'd jazz it up with silver shoes and bag.

I too hate that boutiquey wedding style where you'd see about 3 people wearing the same dress at a wedding.

This is very different and I don't see how it looks casual.

this dress for a walk and not for a wedding

It looks like it could be dressed up a bit more with different shoes, more dressy ones. The waist could probably be cinched in a bit, maybe swap out the tie belt for a skinny belt. A done up make up look and a red lip would lift the dress IMO.

You're missing out on the funkiness of the outfit if you want to cinch in the waist in that dress.
    It's just not that style.

It's a nice dress, but I think it's a bit too casual for a wedding to be honest.
