Why do the media cover the LC sit-down exams but not the Oral/Practicals

Seems a bit lazy (and annoying as it establishes an anti-continuous assessment mentality).

Same reason why the media doesn't cover the U19s Six Nations championship, or the Women's Football World Cup - the most popular (or important) example is focused upon, to the exclusion of all others.

The LC written exams are the only exams covered by the media. Not the Junior Cert, not College Exams, not the HPAT, or international exams (le bac, etc.) but exclusively LC written exams: because they are the biggest (and most important) examination event in the country

They don't cover the LCVP exam either or the day you have to submit projects!

I don't know why they cover it all. What actual 'news' is there anyway, it's the same ever year just different faces. Yawn.
