    Hi,

I have a Xaoami Mi5s but screen is slightly cracked, battery knackered & audio problems since I dropped it.

So I'm looking for a replacement, something around €300 mark, quick & decent space & with a good camera. Any suggestions please?

My current is 5.15", I'd consider going slightly larger but not much.
I want something that doesn't have a custom ROM (which is what people said led to the battery issue).

    Thanks,
    Patrick.

You mean a Vendor/Reseller Rom, not custom rom, which was maybe the cause of your battery problems.

You might consider a Redmi Note 5 [WHYRED][Global], just get from a reliable reseller this time that doesn't put vendor rom on it. See link.

redmi note 5. all day long.
got one for my son and spent last few days setting it up and playing with it. its a great phone.
for me its 75% of my samsung 8+ at a third of the cost.
its even got features like double tap to wake and fm radio which i wish my s8+ had.
decent enough camera... 1.9 apature, which is on one i got, is decent at this budget..good electronic stabilisation which works perfectly too... good size screen 6", great sunlight visibility ....slick look and feel... really good samsung theme in theme store btw....fast app opening...loads and loads of customisation...really great battery 4000mh ...its a lovely job for the money... see how my boys sim card and 4g works when he gets it....cant give it to him yet as waiting on tempered glass and case to arrive...its too special of a phone to give to him without protection.
its better in the hand and on in front of you than any of the youtube videos make it look.
