CAP: pillar 1 vs pillar 2

    Hi all,

    I'm doing a bit of research on how Ireland implements different CAP measures, instruments, policies, etc. and whether pillar 2 gets as much attention here as it gets in Brussels.

    e.g. the overall CAP budget is 408bn Euro with 308bn going to pillar 1 and 100bn for pillar 2, which is a 75/25 split. I'm wondering if the split in Ireland is around the same.

    Each country can prioritise different areas, so there'll be some changes naturally enough, but I'm just trying to figure out if Ireland is broadly in line with this overall ratio or if it's way off.

    Any pointers or links would be most appreciated. Or general opinions obviously as well :)
