    Hi all.

Im an 18 year old male and have suffered from persistent jerks and twitches for the past 1 and a half years.

The jerking occurs any time where im sat still. I can usually ignore the slight movements by now but at the start it was very annoying. In bed I also get real bad jerks or jolts which I can deal with by now on a normal night. But after a day of heavy exercise I find it a real struggle as the jerks become quite strong and noticable. I get the twitching it seems in a new place each week e.g back, feet neck etc.

Im yet to go to the doctors especially over this but have had bloods since the onset and they have showing up nothing. But could this be hidden? Should I be really concerned?

I am really concerned. Could this lead to something much worse? Or is it just a type essential myoclonyus which by my research matches most symptoms I have.

Would really appriciate some educated feedback or from someone who suffers from a similar condition.

Hi jbloggs, no one here is qualified to answer your questions, medical advice isn't permitted on boards. Your doctor is the best person to answer these questions.
