Buying new car - log book

Tomorrow I'm due to pick up my new car and trading in my older car against it. Trouble is I seem to be unable to find my log book for the current car I have. Would this cause any issues or has anyone got any advice to get me over the line?

Shouldn't hold up things tomorrow but you may have to request a replacement and then drop it into the dealer when you receive it.

Thanks! That was my plan to get the RF134 filled out and request a new book asap so I don't get caught for speeding/parking fines.

Fill out the form, get it stamped at the garda station and give it to the dealer or post it yourself but show the dealer first so that they know its been applied for.

Did you check the glovebox??? lol

You have to bring the filled in and Garda stamped RF134 form to your local motor tax office along with €12.
