i like the surprise win.. its different than the main roster where Hunter likes his champions to have long reigns and most of the PPV main events seem meaningless.

from when he won the title, no one expected Cody to lose it until at least the next Mania, no one expected Cena losing to Orton / R Truth or probably anyone until at least Survivor Series.. and no one really expected Jey Uso losing to Jake Paul recently.

Stephanie was a brilliant addition by WWE, hopefully they use her well going forward.

What is the attraction, good thing about Ricky Saints? He did not do much in NXT to make me want to see him moving up to the main roster. (Ethan Paige is actually far more interesting). Is it all based on something outside WWE?

I don't understand about Ricky either. Maybe was a condition for signing him or maybe they have plans.

Imo she she should have debuted on the main roster. She'll definitely be missed from aew but kudos to her

What a step down to go from winning the Womens World Title in Wembley to debuting with no name in front of 200 people. I hope for her sake she hasn't signed a contract longer than two years because if she isn't World Champ in WWE within two years then she's been absolutely wasted.

But Mariah leaving AEW has proven that jumps between companies are good. She hasn't been missed in AEW and now Stephanie Vacquer can get away from Booker T and his incredibly uncomfortable to listen to groaning, with Mariah sliding in to be the "big" star of NXT with all the TNA talent for support.

I don't watch too much of NXT but I did find it noteworthy that Pat McAfee of all people commented on Booker's groaning re: Vaquer on Raw. Which is just a weird thing to have associated with you in this day and age.

I don't get the complaining about her going straight to NXT.

NXT women's roster is being raided for the main roster. She'd get totally lost in the shuffle.

She'll do well in NXT, probably making far more than the average NXT contract and can get called up in the not too distant future.

The lack of a name could be a concern but WWE's name changes haven't been the worst of late so hopefully that streak continues.

I guess Jordynne hasn't moved up yet. Not sure how they'll decide to the next contender. Lainey Reid was a strange one there, the way she didn't get involved with the other women and was just standing on the apron while Mariah was talking. I at least expected Lainey to challenge Mariah.

But if Mariah gets the shot after all the other women coming out, it'd be a weird decision.

I think NXT is the right spot for her at present. She'd get lost in the mix on the main roster for now as the likes of Vaquer, Jordanne Grace, Rox and Giulia will all get pushes. At least she can build her name/profile on NXT for a few months and once debuts on the main roster she'll have a bit of wow factor about her.

I cant see her getting a title shot ASAP but more so a slow burn programme with Jacy and fatal influence potentially. it all depends on whether they utilise her as a face/heel.

So that's now two of them in WWE. Good luck to Blake Monroe (awful name) when Tiffy Time is already doing the gimmick and unlike Blake she's WWE made. Between the awful debut, bad name and second rate gimmick I don't think the reality is going to live up to the dream for Blake Monroe. It's a shame because there's a talent there but she's not going to get better working with Jacy Jayne, Thea Hail and Kelani Jordan and Monroe isn't capable of carrying a weaker opponent.

Relax, she's there a week...her debut went viral so hardly a fail. I don't see any issue with the name, would you have preferred Mariah March? I don't see her gimmick being similar to Tiffy either, let's just see how it plays out.

Yeah too early to call it. I don't dislike the name, they just take a bit of time. If people got used to names like Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins, they'll get used to Blake Monroe. She's still super young as well and only starting to learn how wwe do things. We'll see where it goes

Looking forward to an eventual Grace/Monroe match up.

Turns out if you google Blake Monroe you might find a very blonde and glamorous looking Adult star not the first time the WWE name change brain trust have done this.

Ha. I don't mind the name actually, but yes you'd think they'd run it through a quick Google before launching it. I think she's jumped a little early, another year or two at the top in AEW wouldn't have done her any harm. She's fairly young and they'd still want her then.

I googled the name and it was pretty much all Mariah. Had to specify a bit more to get the actress. So it's probably better that people searching for nude pics of her get the other one.

Wonder what happened at the end of the main event. Saw someone say he was knocked loopy so didn't kick out. Is that was the case the ref should've ended it.

Yeah I think the name being an adult film star "controversy" is a bit forced and people trying to dunk on WWE over nothing. I don't think the other 'Blake Monroe' is that well-known in those circles or anything. Apparently there's another Skye Blue too.

I'm not mad for the name Blake Monroe regardless. Very NXT haha. Mariah Monroe would have been fine maybe, although Monroe for the gorgeous glamorous blonde woman will always be a bit on the nose.

They don't like acknowledging AEW, and don't like the whole real name deal if they can avoid it. So can see why they didn't want Mariah anything. I like her but would have concerns she'll just become another good looking blonde amongst many.

The live crowd was dead for Blake and her innuendo I kind of felt sorry for her not getting the reaction she was hoping for.
