Does anyone know if it's possible to apply for level 6 course while on DA? Or awaiting the outcome

I believe not if you are awaiting an income. I thinkyou can apply for a lvl 6 as long as you dont have a level 6 already after 9 months of DA

You’re confusing DA with BTEA wifey28.
OP if you have DA just write to them and tell them you are doing a full time course of education. It’ll be fine. You are not applying for BTEA as it’s not necessary. You can apply for a SUSI grant too if you meet the criteria.
