GP or consultant

    Hi
I was recently refered by my GP to a consultant who then said a day surgery was needed. I had the surgery last Tuesday. The surgery went fine i presume but I had a very bad reaction to the anaesthetic and was on oxygen for a few hours after. It was 10pm when I was let go home and the consultant was long gone. As a result I've not had any results or been told how it went or why I took so long to come around. I was just handed a prescription and told to try eat at home. (I was vomiting in hospital).
I'm still having trouble keeping food down and think it may now be the antibiotics.
Does anyone know who gives you the results. I left a message with the consultant but have not heard back. Do I contact my GP? I'm not sure what to do. I'm feeling a bit adrift.
