cylinder leaking!!what do i do?

    So our toddler knocked smth against the draining off tap at bottom of our insulated cylinder in hot press and water is seeping from around the joint.tank is 10 yrs old.our heating system is back boiler stove and theres 2 open tanks in attic fed by gravity well.is there something i can do to drain the immersion cylinder?dont want to be ringing a plumber on easter sunday.
