Cash for cars note on window

    Someone keeps leaving a cash for cars note on my car window an now they’ve started to damage the car they broke the wing mirror off an stole the wheel caps on another day, it’s a very quiet estate so I know it’s the same people checking the cars an houses every few days

    You could contact the litter warden as leaving flyers on cars is illegal. Is the car abandoned there (as in not taxed and insured)

    Ring the number and make up a car and ask to meet in somewhere kinda awkward. Do it a few times. Just mess with their time

    I found these notes on the car a couple of times; Looked around the building's car park and noticed they were placed on all pre-2008 cars with bigger engine sizes (>1.6). North Dublin, it was a 085 number indeed - I guess they're looking for people who want to get rid of older vehicles.

    A few days later I spotted a "removals" sign on the building's gate and guess what, the same number was on it...
