Is an nct fail on wipers a free visual retest

My wiper on my car is in bits, I ordered a set off Mick's garage but ordered the wrong pair.

I have nct tomorrow and I don't want to buy blades now because Mick's garage won't give me a refund just a credit note because of when I bought them.

Its going to fail on wipers but is this a free retest for when Mick's garage can get me the new ones or will I have to pay?

Unfortunately it's full re-test and a €50 fine (per wiper).

(Just sarcasm, of course. It's a visual, yeah. pretty much anything that doesn't involve the use of the ramps or gear in the centre is a visual).

Cheers. I ended up just going into Halfords and bodging in a set of inserts in the end, don't really want to have to go back to the centre

Good plan... not much rain forecast for tomorrow but you can never be sure with our weather...
