    Hi guys,
So I'm currently an NUIG student (cue gasps of horror) but I loathe my course so I plan on changing. I have been interested in doing a Film course ever since I was a young wan but have been reluctant to just go for it because of the fear of being unemployed for the rest of my life. I've decided I'm gonna just go for it this year, but I'm worried that my lack of any experience is gonna cause problems. Do they teach you the absolute basics from scratch in the GMIT course? Or is it a good idea to have some knowledge before I go in to it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
