Fiat Numberplate Bulb not working

    It's an Idea. I've fitted a new bulb but it's not working still. Holder seems a bit loose. Should I wrap a bit of tinfoil around one end to keep it in place or is this a big no no? :o

    I take it the car has a 2nd number plate light also, try put the new bulb in that to see if it works there to rule out a bad bulb.

    Already did that. It's always the right bulb.

    You should check to see if you 12volts and an Earth at those connections. Then you will have a starting point for diagnosis.

    I would disconnect the bulb holders, then plug in the working one on the other side and see what happens, and vice versa.
