Washing Machine Leaking.

    Why would my Whirlpool front loading washing machine be leaking 'it seems' through the door of the filter, it's totally free of debris!?

    there's usually a large O Ring which makes the Seal on the Filter in picture 2.
    It may be damaged and needs to be replaced.

    There is only 1 rubber washer(green arrow)..
    Should there be another(red arrow)?

    it is usually limescale build up in the housing clean it thoroughly with a nilon scouring pad clean the o ring and smear some Vaseline petroleum jelly on the o ring should do the trick
