Not a regular poster on here.

I’m going to be doing my bathrooms up soon. I’m looking to fit 2 grohe tempesta rain showers in my ensuite and main bathroom.

Can you recommend a cylinder and pump combo? I have a gravity fed 150 indirect set up at the min. Should I fit a pressurised cylinder and boost the whole house? I want to be able to ad solar at a some point in the future too.

I was recommended to go with this set up from the place where I am going to purchase the shower etc

Grundfos Scala2 Variable Speed Pump 3-45 Joule 250Ltr Vented Twin Solar Cylinder S/Steel

    Any recommendations I’d appreciate it.

If you’re going pressurised, then it’s gonna be expensive. Very expensive cost just for good pressure which would ideally only be appreciated in the showers.
However, if you do, then maybe a 250l cyl with a spare solar coil for the future if u go solar.
If you’re supplying this cyl from an attic tank then I’d only use a submersible pump where the noise would be greatly reduced.

What’s the alternative? Fit a 250 ltr cylinder and just boost the showers with a pump?

If so, can what pump? And could both showers run at same time?

Yes that’s the alternitsve. A pump after the cyl. It’d be noisier too and yes both can run at the same time
