The problem is that they've water damaged the floor boards. Plastic flower pots just inside the window on the floor. Wooden floor boards have been stained by the water. Worse still, it's not a single floor board, but rather the end of 6/7 boards (oak, worn effect, unvarnished finished).

Any ideas on any way I could take out stain or will damaged boards need to be replaced ?- photo attached..

    Sand and refinish.

These boards are not varnished - so how would I refinish ? I see in woodies they have stuff to remove stains on wood - would this be worth trying ? Thanks

Just sand them back so the stain goes away, then if you like the natural look leave them as they are or use an oil to protect them a little more.
There are a lot of very good products out now Osmo make some excellent oils and there are plenty more depending on what finish you want.
