Trickle vents or Click vents?

Some window companies offer the choice of "click vents" or "trickle vents" - see image below. What would make you choose one over the other?

I am replacing the window in my kitchen with a three panel door. The window has a single trickle vent and is the only window in the room. I'm wondering if I should go for the click vent or the trickle vent?

The door will be directly north facing and 90m from the Irish Sea, so quite exposed to wind.

I was thinking of putting two click vents on the door - one on the left vertical of the frame and one on the right vertical. But this is a decision purely on aesthetics.
