People coming to this country to better themselves getting beaten for no reason.

Whoever did this hope has key thrown away.

Hope the 2 gentlemen in this case recover and get life's back.

This is not way forward at all.

Lot's of Irish people are beaten up and also robbed as well every day.

Hopefully you feel the keys should be thrown away in their case as well.

Its white thrash skangers who do these things. Its time the skanger problem was solved in Ireland. Declare a state of emergency in certain districts, get the army out and have the skangers terminated.

Happened on Cork street. One of the work parts of the city in my experience. I got grief down in that part of the city a few years ago over the football shirt I was wearing.

I remember that Afghan family were beaten up whilst walking down a road near Nutgrove. The extreme left were out in force to have protests at Nutgrove shopping centre against racism and the rise of the Far-Right. They quickly shuddered away when they found out the culprits lived in the local halting site.

We don't have a problem of specifically racist groups strolling around beating up migrants. We have a skanger problem of groups just going around beating up people for their own enjoyment.

We need to start dealing with violence here a lot more vigruously than we do.

There's nearly an accepted tolerance of absolute thuggery. The policing isn't visible enough and the sentencing is far too weak.

An unprovoked assault should carry a very serious penalty that has profound impact. Too often people are walking away.

It's not good enough that people are genuinely uncomfortable and feel intimidated / that they should watch their backs walking around parts of Dublin.

It's not a particularly pleasant city sometimes.

How the hell do you break someone's hip in a street attack.. This happens all too often to 'locals' as well, not just young pakistani men. I'm just saying, not trying to bait, but there's a ferret like generation growing up in the city that don't have much brain power.. causing misery to people just going about their business.
