Just installing a new boiler, powerflush,, gas line and other bits, you won’t get much change from 4k

Sorry OP for butting in on this one, but have a similiar question.
Have an 15yr external oil boiler, which is working okay, but problem is high probability of water leak externally, so am considering all options.

Does that rough price of 4K include getting the gas conncted from the road into a meter at the house?
If not, do you have any idea what BG are charging in the Dublin area - gas pipe for other houses is just out on road at end of drive!

BG charge 250 I think. After the meter then it’s all variable. All depends where the boiler is located.

Thks, so would be need to be thinking of 5K rather than 4K for an all in solution. Food for thought.

Any views on swapping oil for gas?

If you have the option of natural gas then yes, 100% change over
