What have you hit your natural skill ceiling in?

I came to the realisation today that I've hit my skill ceiling in Rocket League, a rocket-powered flying car soccer game, and it's definitely the only thing I've ever had that happen in.

Practice and training can only make someone so good, and while I've tried, I just can't improve beyond where I am now.


It's kind of a pity to get to a point where you've peaked while others you play with keep getting better.

No such thing beyond a physical impairment.

You need to rethink how you practice. Doing something until your good at it only gets you so far. Eventually you need to isolate what you need to improve on and just grind.

I needed a few more stickers to get all the lidl teddy bear vegetables - the baba wants a garlic, stocks are looking a bit low in store so I thinks to myself "I'll turn on the charm, speed this process up a bit"
So I put my stuff on the conveyor and home in on Katarina, the Polish hottie -Now, i hadn't warmed up or anything so I didn't go full power, maybe 60 - 65% ............ Nothing.
The following day though, I'm ready for her, I blast her with 90% + flirt power, she doesn't stand a chance god love her ..........Nothing...... not one single extra sticker.

I was convinced I'd hit my level at musical skills. Everything was always an uphill struggle and try as I might, I was good enough to impress non-players but no matter how many times I run through something, there's a bum note never far away. My sister was the same - I reckon it's simply neurological. I decided to persist and learn more and try learn around my deficiencies and I've been quite pleased - I accepted the bum notes and moved on - these days I'm playing way more and way better despite the bum notes.
