Moving house. Up to 10mb. Any difference in provider?

I'm moving house next week in Dublin 15. There is no fibre broadband surprisingly. The line reports up to 10mb.

Is there any difference in providers at that speed? I used Digiweb years ago and was happy. Eir and Sky are cheaper.

I'm hoping that fibre will become available soon. It's available close by.. If I go with Eir is there a chance that could happen sooner?

Unless it's a very new development I'm not sure there's any FTTC works left. 10mb may be it for a long while (unless virgin are present).

All providers get new products at the same time. Sky chose to delay themselves 18mo.
