Repairing tinted windows

I was transporting some stuff in my car tofay and obviously one of the boxes was bumping against the window of the car as I was driving. Now a bit is scratched out , like a little "hole" in the window.
I didn't even know that was possible...i thought the windows were factory tinted. (I bought the car 2ndhand).
Is it possible to repair and if so is it expensive? My bargain purchase (that I was transporting ) doesn't seem such a bargain now. *wail*

It would need to be redone.

I ripped a tint in one of my cars before and I touched it in with a permanent marker and it worked pretty well but they were dark tints.

I'd say the only seamless way is to have it tinted again.
