    Psychiatry doctor jobs are good, but jobs are saturated and it's tough now to get into a job.

    Salary and working hours are about same as for other medical specialties.

    Would have had the opposite impression myself. Aren't a lot of community teams all over the country short staffed? Certainly when I locumed a year or two ago I there were an awful lot of psychiatry jobs going.

    Also hours in any psych job I've done (3 to date) have been vastly more regular than medical/surgical/ED...
