Shoulder and knee issues

I developed a tear in then medial meniscus (back horn) last year trying to do a couch to 5 K in a week! It was swollen and post MRI, the consultant in Beacon decided to remove fluid from it. It was very painful and I limped for a good few months. Since this didn't help, I had arthroscopy and was given a set of exercises to do every day. I must admit I probably didn't do them as religiously as I should have but tried as much as I could. Just before Christmas, I went back to the gym and tried the treadmill. Walking was OK but running created pain. It's the same ever since despite me exercising the muscles and joints more regularly now. Could another tear have occurred in the meantime and is it worth going back to the same guy r should I go to Santry?

Second problem is a longer lasting one. Pain in the shoulder. Very poorly localised (rhomboid, supraspinatus and even pec minor). The same knee specialist injected it twice with steroid and painkiller but due to no change, he referred me for a neck and shoulder MRI and referred me to a spinal surgeon. The same found cervical spondylosis (arthritis of the neck) affecting C3-C4 and C5-C6. He decided to inject the facet joints just before Christmas under general anesthesia. No exercise were ordered buit the pain has not subsided at all. I have gone to a physio for 5 sessions, a chiropractor for 5 sessions and a massage therapist for 5 sessions too. I have seen an osteopath also on 2 occasions and none of these have helped. The pain gets worse when I try to lift something. The internal rotation (reaching with my right hand behind my back and then trying to raise the hand toward the neck is very painful.
I know this is not a forum for medical advice but if anyone has had similar experience or has had a procedure that has helped or can recommend a good consultant for knee or shoulder, that would be great

Joe Sparks is a decent man for the knee. Has an office in Naas. Works in the Hermitage as well

Stuart Edwards aut even for the knee and James Colville for the shoulder.

Your GP will need to make the referrals however.
