Coal for stove!

Just wondering what would be the best coal to use for a stanley stove?

At present I am using "country blend".. It's a mixture of like.. oval shape coal & squares.

I grabbed a bag of coal from the local shop a couple weeks ago without really reading the bag and it was shiny.. kind of like wee stones. The fire was blaring.

Just looking for any recommendations, am I using the right stuff?

Use a mixture of ecobrite coal and homefire stoveheat. Both around 20 euro for 40kg bag. Both premium coals and great heat off them and burn for hours
