    Hi

I see a site for sale in my area. Planning was granted and foundation work done but planning has now expired.

If someone bought the site would it be difficult to get new planning permission to finish the house.

    impossible to tell....

but i think it would be fair to say that the fact permission had already been granted is no indication that permission would be granted again. treat it as a green field site.

The big issue is whether its a rural application ie connected to its own treatments system, or an urban application ie connected to sewer.

It would be a rural pp with own well and biocycle.

Just be careful on this one. Foundations installed more than 5 years ago and exposed to the weather and likely flooded since. Get an engineer to advise you.

    Yes. Frost attack.
    Weakening of structural strength.
Unable to get structural sign off and certification.
