Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone in the dublin/wicklow/wexford kind of area has the old opcom that can retrieve security codes or the device to retrieve the security code? I am trying to get mine and i really don't want to give 35 euro to the stealer for a paper card that has the information on it! I can't seem to find the old opcom to buy.

If it’s 35 euro for the radio code that’s a joke it should be free.

But if it’s 35e for the car security code it’s not badly priced because it can be used to recode and reprogram modules in the car and the likes so to be fair 35 euro isn’t bad at all for that little card.
The joys of motoring I’m afraid

It's the car security code. Although i think opel charge for the radio code too. To be honest i wouldn't pay that to opel for a code. If it was awkward to get I'd understand. But when I was on the phone to him he told me it would take 2 minutes. I actually managed to find the opcom that can read the security code. So i have ordered that

Yeah it does. But you can pay a little less if you just want the radio code. Yeah i was hoping someone nearby had one but i found the right one in the end. Only one firmware and board type will do it apparently. Well i want an opcom anyway. But i want to change the unlocking of the car. Someone changed it from driver door first to all doors unlock. And i want to activate the follow me home/ lead me to the car lights. Unlocking is the important one though

Ah ya it will do that alright.
Can’t remember 100 percent but I’m fairly sure u might not need the code to do both them jobs. I could be wrong tho.
Mainly just work on Bmw Mercedes and land rover

Apparently you need the code to do any reprogramming. And both those options are in the programming menu. I wish i didn't or i would have got a newer opcom!
