    Hi all,

I recently bought a table saw that requires a 16amp circuit. Can I run this from a 20amp mcb at the CU via 2.5 or even 4 T&E into a blue socket? Some people say T&E should not be used. Surely it would be ok if I install steel conduit ?

    Hi,

2.5 or 4 T&E should be fine if you use the conduit to protect it.

If no conduit then the correct option would be SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) Cable.

    /Dave
