    Are any Irish Health Insurance companies providing insurance policies tailored for people who are 55+ and are no longer interested in maternity and childcare coverage.?

    I don't believe so. If anything, they don't want people in that age category because they cost more in medical claims and they can't apply an age loading if the subscriber has had continuous cover - so why put together a package tailored to their needs?
