Heating and water zoned separately

Ok so I don't have much knowledge of this stuff so please help.
My house is about 10 years old and we replaced our boiler last year.
Up until the boiler was replaced when you turned on heating it heated the water. If you wanted water with no heating you needed to turn the thermostat way down.

When boiler was replaced we got a proper separate timer control which we never had before. Plumber also zoned the system and installed some bits in hotpress so we could hear the water via electric without the heat.

Two days ago I had the nest installed and since then everytime the heating comes on it must heat the water because we have had a lot more hot water. And a lot hotter.
I've also noticed when the water comes on without heat via the schedule it's the boiler heating it.

Has the installer changed sometimes incorrectly here? Or what way should this have gone.

I just afraid I'm gonna be hit with a massive has bill!!
