    Can someone not in the industry or in some college, school, club etc enter as a solo competitor ?

    Anyone can enter but the team cost is the same regardless of numbers on the team..

    There are usually teams and individuals looking to pair enough so I'd suggest maybe checking out there facebook page and see if there are teams you could join in with. Over half the teams wont have done anything like this before so new people are always welcomed.
