Oil burning rate

Moved into a house in December whenever I had the heating on the rads would not heat up fully. It only dawned on me yesterday to go out and look at the boiler. The boiler was set to the lowest temp dial. I hired it up to 3/4 and now the rads heat up fully.

Will this increase the oil consumption? As previously it has been quite easy on oil

Of course as it will run more and hotter.

    Have you nest or netatamo.

If not think of getting as these themselves save a lot from my experience.

No just a bog standard on/off timer. Just had a quick look at thr nest timer which redirected me to the electric Ireland website. It costs 130€ do they install it?

Does it give an indication of how much oil is left in the tank?
